Almin Metal Industries is a Zimbabwean company that is in the business of manufacturing and marketing of aluminium profiles for architecture, irrigation and general engineering purposes. Almin owns and operates a world class aluminium extrusion facility, the only one in Zimbabwe. The company was founded in 1969 and has vertically integrated aluminium processing capabilities comprising of a fully equipped extrusion plant and metal finishing operations which are anodizing and powder coating. It is locally self-sufficient in operating a Remelt facility for melting, alloying and casting extrusion billet and also operates a light metal foundry, the biggest in Zimbabwe. Almin also has access to relevant technology at the highest international standard, through technology transfer agreements with major, world-class principals, including Hulamin Extrusions in South Africa.
