Phoenix of Botswana Assurance Co (Pty) Ltd is proudly part of the Phoenix Assurance Group which incepted in 1912, at Kenya. As one of Africa’s oldest
general insurance group, our mission is to provide expert and exceptional sevices for our clients in the provision of general insurance services and products. We are a full service general insurance company and we have tie-ups with over 20 African and international insurances companies and underwriting agencies. At present the group is operating in five SADC countries which give us a vast pool of knowledge and experience. We offer full range of commercial and domestic general insurances across all variety of industry and clients. Backed by our experience, reputation and trust, we are committed to providing our clients with the very best in general insurance services. The Group is also involved in Micro-finance in select countries.

Phoenix has a multi-dimensional distribution channel system that includes both online and offline channels. We are continuously developing and deploying system to
make it easy to do business with us and to reach the potential customers. We believe in engagements through face to face or online meetings with our clients to enhance communication and understanding of the products. Phoenix Botswana has a very comprehensive and robust IT system with dedicated insurance software. Our IT department ensures security of data through encryption and backups. OUR MANAGEMENT
Mr. Carlson Chiswo: Chief Executive Officer 
Joined Phoenix Botswana in November 2017 as CEO. Carlson has over 30 years’ hands on experience gained in the insurance and Reinsurance industries with specific knowledge in Underwriting, Claims (insurance & reinsurance), Performance and marketing management, Business performance Analysis and Development. Carlson is a Chartered Insurer–Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA) and he holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management for Executives from University of Zimbabwe.

Mr. Rahul Srivastava: Chief Financial Officer
CA from India (1998), ICWA (inter – 1996), Licentiate Short Term Insurance (III India-2002). Worked in major short term and long term insurance companies in India as Manager Finance and Senior Manager Finance from 2001 to 2009. Been with the Phoenix Assurance Group since Jan 2010 as Group Internal Auditor. Financial Controller of Phoenix Botswana since Jan 2016
